Grooming

What are the vaccine/health requirements?

All dogs that come in for grooming must be current on their rabies vaccination within the year and on a vet-strength flea/tick prevention. Dogs arriving with a current flea problem will be sent home.

*Note: We do NOT require the bordetella (kennel cough) vaccine. However, if you choose to vaccinate your pet for this, there is a 10-day quarantine period before they are able to come in.

*Side Note: All dogs must be spayed/neutered by 8 months in order to participate in group play of any kind.

What are the drop-off/pick-up times for grooming appointments?

Our drop-off times are between 7-10:00 a.m. We will send you a text when your dog is finished and ready to be picked up. If needed, your dog is welcome to stay with us until we close at 6:00 p.m.

Boarding

What are the vaccine/health requirements?

All dogs that come in for boarding in our Griffin location must be current on their rabies & distemper/parvo vaccination within the year. For all dogs over six months old, we also require proof of a negative fecal exam within the last four months. Dogs must also be on a current vet-strength flea/tick prevention. If fleas are found when arriving, they will either be sent home or will be given a Capstar pill and/or flea bath and quarantined for 24 hours at the owner's expense.

*Note: We do NOT require the bordetella (kennel cough) vaccine. However, if you choose to vaccinate your pet for this, there is a 10 day quarantine period before they are able to stay with us.

The reason for this is that strains of live virus are present in the vaccine, and there is a possibility for those to shed to dogs around them and cause other dogs to become infected.

PUPPIES: Puppies need to have completed their entire vaccine series as well as their rabies vaccine. They must be on a vet strength flea/tick prevention. Puppies up until the age of six months must provide proof of a negative fecal exam monthly to ensure no intestinal parasites are present.

*Note: We do NOT require the bordetella (kennel cough) vaccine. However, if you choose to vaccinate your pet for this, there is a 10-day quarantine period before they are able to stay with us.
